Personality: Alisdair is a genteel, cultured man with refined tastes.  Despite this, he is renowned within Mage circles for his ability to relate to and teach young Mages of all family backgrounds.  Occasionally stern, but always fair.

Life in the Past/History: Alisdair, like his young ward, is a scion of an ancient family, well-versed in arcane studies.  Unlike his charge, however, he possesses a worldliness that serves him well when dealing with the many denizens of the supernatural world.  From the moment of his birth, Alisdair was destined to follow in the family business:  Hunting down and neutralizing all those who would tamper with the balance of the natural world.

Integration: Recently, the Children of Solomon received word that the restless dead were about in the city of Atlanta.  Generally, this means that Necromancers are in play... something that cannot be allowed to stand.  He and his ward are here to investigate those rumors.

Alisdair has a variety of magical disciplines at his disposal, but is strongest in two:  the magic of forces (gravity, electricity, kinetic energy, heat, etc) and the magic of matter (manipulating the density, tensile strength, hardness and other properties of matter).
