Harlot is very emotionally unstable, one moment hot the next cold with a tendency to become violent at the drop of a hat. She is easily angered, and easily bored-- and boredom leads to anger so it's a viscous cycle! Her socio-political views are in line with freedom and anarchy--despite this she has been known to work with both Cami and Anarch factions as it suits her mood or needs, whilst maintaining a disdain for the Sabbat. Incredibly paranoid---- This paranoia can be exploited as a weakness, though if she turns this paranoia on you? You should probably change your cell number and leave the state.
Life in the Past/History:
Harlene was born a mortal of German decent presumably around the 1400s, though most who know of her name usually assume she is from the 1600s--a time in history where she made her most memorable appearance. Harley's first notably appeared in the mid 1600s as a Harlequin that manipulated several nobles during the Thirty Years War, one of the longest and most destructive continuous wars in European history. What had originally started as a war over religion had been extended on multiple accounts by her actions both on and off the battlefield. As a harlequin jester and consort she manipulated nobles, as monstrous creature of the night she sabotaged war efforts. She completely destabilized the region, making her an enemy to the Camirilla. She has masqueraded as several things over the centuries---she is as good with a knife as she is with a disguise. Oracle? Harlot? Actress? Singer? Pimp? Gangster? Politician? She's done it all! When she was finally caught rather than bringing her final death the Cami's instead used her as a tool and contracted her to to destabilize certain regions throughout history, making them ripe for political or ideological conquest. However, she soon grew bored of that too and dropped from the radar, only sporadically appearing to turn plans and plots sideways with seemingly no rhyme or reason. Harley is a vampire with no power base and no contacts, a singular solitary creature of the night with no political or affiliated aspirations. She still takes the occasional mercenary contract, but these nights mostly roams around for her own entertainment.
